DIY Fall Wine Dispenser
A craft pumpkin, a box of wine and a cake stand. About 15 minutes to make.

Okay, ladies, this is my favorite fall hosting hack: a pumpkin wine dispenser. Boxed wine, but make it fall. A craft pumpkin hides the wine bag, the tap pokes out the front, and it sits pretty on a cake stand all night.
You’ll need
Holds one 3-liter box of wine (about 20 glasses).
- 1 hollow craft pumpkin, about 12 inches tall
- 1 box of wine (3 liters)
- A sharp serrated knife (or a craft knife)
- A cake stand
- A little fall decor for around the base
Make it

Cut the top off the pumpkin, around the stem. That’s your lid.

Cut a small hole in the front, near the bottom, right where the tap will go.

Take the wine bag out of the box (the tap comes attached to the bag), lower it into the pumpkin and pop the tap through the hole.

Put the lid back on, set the pumpkin on the cake stand and dress it up with some fall decor.
Lady M’s tips
- Measure your wine bag before you buy a pumpkin so you know it will fit.
- Start the tap hole small and widen it a little at a time until the tap just pops through.
- Set it on a cake stand so there’s room to fit a glass under the tap.
- Chill the wine bag before it goes in. The pumpkin keeps it cool for a while.
On my table
Set the pumpkin on a cake stand so there’s room to fit a glass under the tap, with a placemat underneath to catch any drips.
That’s it, and you’re ready for game night. Bird Bam Cheers! ...and happy mahj-ing!
