Cranberry Brie Bites
Little pastry cups with melty brie, cranberry sauce, pecans and rosemary. The Christmas party appetizer everyone asks for.

It’s mahjong night, ladies, and these cranberry brie bites are my favorite Christmas appetizer. Little pastry cups, a cube of melty brie, a spoon of cranberry and a few pecans, baked in a mini muffin tin.
You’ll need
Makes 24. About 25 minutes.
- 1 tube (8 oz) crescent dough sheet, or 1 sheet puff pastry
- 8 oz brie, cut into 24 small cubes
- ½ cup whole-berry cranberry sauce
- ¼ cup chopped pecans
- Fresh rosemary
Make it

Heat the oven to 375°F and grease a mini muffin tin. Cut the dough into 24 squares and press one into each cup.

Add a cube of brie and a spoonful of cranberry sauce.

Sprinkle a few chopped pecans on top.

Bake 12 to 15 minutes, until golden, and top each one with a little rosemary.
Lady M’s tips
- Cold brie cubes more easily; the rind can stay on.
- Leftover cranberry sauce from Thanksgiving is perfect here.
- They reheat well at 350°F for 5 minutes.
On my table
A white platter with sprigs of rosemary around the edge looks like a wreath.
That’s it, and you’re ready for game night. Bird Bam Cheers! ...and happy mahj-ing!
